This December 27th was a memorable day for Joy of Sharing Society. For the cause of distributing blankets to the needy homeless we began our journey from Goud Hostel Himayathnagar. Around 50 volunteers participated in this drive.
To distribute as many blankets as we can, we divided our volunteers into 6 teams to cover six areas from Goud Hostel. These areas were 1)S.R.Nagar, 2)Dillshuknagar, 3)Kharkhana, 4) Secunderabad 5) Charminar and 6) University-Ecil. There were 12 cars and each area was allotted two cars to cover vast areas in search of needy homeless. The journey started at 11:00 Pm and continued till morning 3:00 Am. Finally a good day ended with a good deed.
