It’s cold outside.

Imagine sleeping outside in the cold, night after night. You are at the mercy of the nature; death is only inches away. 

When you walk by the streets, look around. People with no one to call family, hungry and cold are countless. We get so caught up in our own lives that it’s easy to turn a blind eye to someone in need, and walk right past them.

Just one blanket will make a difference for someone. It doesn't matter how small of a contribution that you make to society, it just matters that you are trying to make some kind of contribution."

Joy of sharing (NGO)(a non-profit started by  group of working professionals) decided to organize an event where people can donate winter cloths and blankets to the people who are desperate for shelters near traffic signals, sidewalks, temples and shivering from bitter cold.

We would like to distribute 500 blankets to the needy.

Come forward to donate used blankets, shawls or sweaters etc OR sponsor us to buy new blankets (at each Rs. 100). Being kind is human and we encourage you to help others through a simple act of humanity. Your services will be well acknowledged and recognized.
