The skill of handwriting has always an important role in education, employment and in everyday life. Joy of Sharing
believes that certain time should be spent to the teaching and learning in forming words,
expressing thoughts and hand-writing in the early years. This will benefit a child to
attend to the higher-level aspects of writing composition and content. Without clear,
fast and legible handwriting, students may miss out opportunities to express
their thoughts and under-achieve academically.
JOSH team acknowledges that the process of handwriting promotes clear thoughts and is intuitive. Being able to express, formulate words and to personalize the content means that the translation of thoughts has less opportunity for deviation – and – realizing this, team organized an event to teach the children the techniques of handwriting.
We started the program with meditation. Later, Mr. Karthik taught kids the importance and practice of handwriting skills. He conducts such hand writing classes for all age groups so often. He is pursuing his MBA and actively participates in pro-bono work to help JOSH team. We sincerely thank him for spending his valuable time and offering such valuable suggestions. We look forward for more opportunities to expand on this initiative.
